About the position

The Demand Planner position is a temporary role within an American multinational beverage corporation, aimed at supporting the demand forecasting processes that drive the supply chain. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate demand forecasts and resource allocation, ultimately serving customer and consumer needs. This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days a week in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Support and provide feedback for the development of the statistical demand forecast process based on a defined framework.
• Apply promotional and lifecycle planning modules to create a statistical forecast with a rolling 26-week time horizon.
• Evaluate the results of the statistical forecast at customer, location, package, and material level against mid-term derived customer forecasts.
• Assist with the Sales & Operations execution process that drives consensus forecasts with key stakeholders.
• Proactive forecast quality assessment using trend analysis and actual results.
• Collaborate with other planners to enable integrated planning activities and processes.
• Support the management of material introduction and deletion for forecast needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management or Engineering.
• 3 plus years related supply chain experience.
• Solid forecast and supply planning experience.
• Solid business acumen.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP APO preferred.
