As the Demand Planner, you play an essential role in our sales and supply chain organization within Modine's Air Cooled Application business. You will be creating and maintaining the consensus demand plan at multiple levels of aggregation, using statistical models, and leveraging insights from Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams. This individual will work cross functionally with multiple teams within the organization including sales to determine customer demand, supply chain to stay updated on parts availability, operations to be informed on throughput and capacity, engineering for new product development time horizon, and finance to ensure profitability targets are achieved. This position is at our Racine, Wisconsin global headquarters and allows for a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities include building out and leading commercial S&OP processes including global demand planning, commercial alignment meetings with sales, manufacturing, logistics and finance, loading forecasts, and presenting net effects of forecasts to Manufacturing, Finance, and Sr Executive leadership. You will review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Interacting with sales, marketing, and finance to develop a consensus and forecast event drivers across categories and customers is crucial. You will also document and retain history of planning assumptions, develop complete analysis/timeline related to demand for new product launches, and maintain a working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain components.
