About the position

The Demand Planner position at CPF, Inc. is primarily focused on supporting the supply chain department by managing raw material ordering, MRP/ERP system administration, and production planning. The role aims to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective inventory management and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sufficient raw materials are in place for production by reviewing the master forecast, production schedule, and on-hand inventory.
• Ensure timely updates to the MRP/ERP systems for customer forecasts, orders, and master data management including bill of material creation and changes.
• Place purchase orders daily and weekly as required for all raw materials and finished good purchases.
• Develop good working relationships with vendors.
• Monitor raw material receipts vs orders and resolve issues on quantities and schedules with vendors.
• Enter material receipts accurately in ERP system.
• Complete month raw material forecasts for vendors and Pepsi.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials in ERP software programs.
• Manage discrepant material dispositions with production, warehouse, and suppliers.
• Work with operations to develop production schedules to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Attend daily customer meetings on demand/issues and work with supply chain department to resolve issues.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 - 5 years Logistics/Planning experience in a fast-paced demanding environment.
• Knowledge of Planning Systems and understanding of Consumer-Packaged Goods Go-to-Market strategies (preferred).
• Full proficiency in Microsoft products as well as MRP software systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and interact effectively with others in a team environment.
