About the position

In this role as a Demand Planner at Bacardi, you will be working closely with the US Sales and Marketing Leadership to enhance the performance of a portfolio of brands in the market. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for your assigned brands. This involves developing demand plans and driving monthly consensus for volume and revenue projections, ensuring that all key internal stakeholders are involved in the process. You will also be responsible for creating and proposing product allocations for brands that require this approach, as well as collecting and analyzing past and future demand drivers to assess their impact on demand. Your role will require you to uncover risks and opportunities related to demand uncertainties and collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial teams to develop alternative business response options. You will maintain, analyze, and review statistical forecast data for the assigned brands, continuously analyzing forecast performance to identify root causes for variations and driving improvements in forecasting techniques. Additionally, you will monitor key performance indicators related to demand planning and publish a monthly dashboard that reflects the brand billings and depletion performance. Responsibilities

  • Manage the demand planning process for assigned brands and prioritize markets for the supply plan within the portfolio.
  • Develop demand plans and drive monthly consensus through the S&OP process for volume and revenue projections for the assigned brands, involving key internal stakeholders.
  • Create and propose product allocations for brands that warrant this approach.
  • Collect past and future demand drivers and work with stakeholders to identify the impact of drivers on demand.
  • Uncover risks and opportunities tied to demand uncertainties and help develop alternative business response options with the Marketing and Commercial teams.
  • Maintain, analyze and review statistical forecast data for the assigned brands.
  • Continuously analyze forecast performance, identify root causes for variations, and drive improvements in forecasting techniques & approach.
  • Monitor demand planning key performance indicators and performance metrics, publishing a monthly dashboard for assigned brand billings and depletion performance.
  • Gather input from business users and leadership team to improve system functionality, demand planning business processes and forecast accuracy.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to use analytical and statistical models to analyze demand and prepare forecasts in SAP or other advanced planning tools.
  • Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of forecasting/demand planning experience in the Food & Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Proven time management and multiple task management capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for communication across global and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with advanced planning tools beyond SAP APO.
