Responsibilities

  • Provide daily guidance and oversight to category planning, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and assess potential risks in demand forecasting, and create effective strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay proactive by continuously updating and adjusting forecasts for new products, seasonal items, promotions, and expanded regions.
  • Analyze and resolve demand-related issues promptly, maintaining processes that improve forecast accuracy over time.
  • Support the development of annual budgets, implement cost-effective initiatives, and generate both routine and ad-hoc reports for management.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels in the warehouse, collaborating with suppliers to optimize delivery performance.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with various internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead through influence by presenting actionable ideas that drive team collaboration and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in mathematical and statistical analysis.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
