As a full-time Demand Planner at ZAGG, you will play a crucial role in managing all forecasting activities associated with customers and products, focusing on both units and revenue. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain forecast models by SKU for key accounts, utilizing business intelligence and forecast information gathered from various departments including sales, marketing, finance, and direct customer feedback. This position requires a deep analysis of factors impacting demand for mobile accessory products, such as category trends, promotions, competitive products, seasonality, retail consumption, and indirect channels. You will be expected to build statistical models that effectively quantify the business environment and provide insights into demand fluctuations. In addition to forecasting, you will manage demand forecasts by considering trends, seasonality, and promotions while also factoring in channel inventory, in-stock percentages, and the product life cycle. Leading collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment meetings with key accounts will be a significant part of your role, as will partnering with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and customers to make informed decisions that minimize any negative financial impacts. Achieving forecast accuracy, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring service levels, and meeting customer in-stock percentage targets will be key performance indicators for your success in this role. You will also be responsible for communicating any material shortages and delays to the appropriate customer contacts and leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings for key accounts.
