About the position

The Demand Planner at Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. is responsible for supporting customer inventory levels through accurate demand forecasting, promotional event planning, and new product launches. This role aims to meet TTI's KPI goals while managing SKU level forecasts across various product categories for multiple customer channels in North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a future statistical sales forecast for the SKU portfolio.
• Manage forecasts within TTI's supply chain planning software, Logility.
• Improve current demand planning processes and maintain forecast accuracy.
• Exceed company service level expectations and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate monthly shipment forecast in Logility.
• Define customer inventory needs for base replenishment and event execution.
• Analyze and interpret supply chain relevant data from multiple sources.
• Classify shipment history for financial analysis.
• Host monthly demand review meetings for cross-functional support on forecasts.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver reports to the business.
• Capture failures, root causes, corrective actions, and document accountability.
• Build relationships throughout the supply chain to address process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Operations, or a similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, transportation, distribution, purchasing, or manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated statistical, analytical, and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to develop and manage performance metrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills for a fast-paced, multi-tasked team environment.
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment with strict deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP and/or Logility.
• Experience with statistical supply chain planning software.
