About the position

The Demand Planner at Aramsco is responsible for developing and managing the strategic product plan and roadmap for assigned products. This role involves vendor management, product life cycle management, and optimizing product line performance based on sales and customer feedback. The Demand Planner will also engage in market analysis, advertising management, and act as a product champion for internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with sales and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic product plan and roadmap for assigned products and lines.
  • Manage product life cycle and determine which products to carry based on sales and customer feedback.
  • Optimize product line performance through SKU rationalization, including line extensions, consolidations, deletions, and stocking status decisions.
  • Manage digital and print advertising for products.
  • Negotiate with vendors to decrease costs, improve lead times, and enhance product quality.
  • Act as product champion for all internal and external communications.
  • Collect and analyze market information such as competitive offerings, market demand, and industry trends.
  • Maintain close contact with the sales organization and customers through field trips.
  • Present at trade shows, sales rep, and customer trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a technical field (preferred but not required).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in product management and vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and track the success of initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with web analytics programs, especially Google Analytics.
  • Experience in the professional cleaning, restoration, or environmental industries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Hubspot, Magento, and BigCommerce (preferred but not required).
  • MBA or other advanced degree (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of SEM best practices and experience with Facebook Ads.
