About the position

The Demand Planner at ABB is responsible for generating an unconstrained demand plan and improving demand planning accuracy. This role involves collaboration with various functions to rationalize finished goods and support sales with global demand insights. The position is hybrid and contributes to the Process Industries Process Control Platform division.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain rolling 18-24 months of unconstrained demand forecasts for assigned products.
• Assemble and analyze data pertinent to creating an unconstrained demand plan.
• Support Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products and assist with the consolidation of the worldwide demand plan.
• Monitor finished goods Stock Keeping Units (SKU) levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
• 8 years of experience in demand planning or related field.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of supply chain and experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
