About the position

The Demand Planner at Tubby Todd Bath Co. is a critical role responsible for ensuring the availability of products in the right quantities to meet customer demand. This position involves forecasting, inventory management, and collaboration with various teams to support the company's growth and commitment to customer satisfaction. The Demand Planner will analyze sales data, market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand planning with business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and market trends.
• Build and update forecasts from multiple retail channels, including Direct to Consumer, Amazon, and Wholesale.
• Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Provide suggestions on replenishment orders based on inventory levels and anticipated lead times.
• Partner with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align demand planning with business objectives.
• Continuously monitor actual sales versus forecasts and adjust forecasts as necessary.
• Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy and inventory status to stakeholders.
• Lead monthly meetings to review forecast accuracy and summarize inventory levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably in the consumer goods or personal care industry.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical forecasting methods and demand planning software.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with demand planning tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
