Classic Concepts, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Demand Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and managing the demand for our B2B customers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Your primary focus will be to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams, to gather relevant information and insights that will inform demand forecasting. As a Demand Planner, you will analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks. You will monitor and adjust forecast accuracy by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast error, bias, and inventory turnover. Additionally, you will execute purchasing business processes with overseas suppliers, focusing on purchase order processing, invoices, and payments. Maintaining supplier delivery status within various data management systems and resolving discrepancies will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing customer demand with cost efficiency. Your role will involve providing input to the supplier and supply chain process in developing inventory priorities for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. You will also evaluate inventory across all warehouse locations and implement necessary transfers. Supporting suppliers with product information, including UCC labels and purchase orders, will be essential. Furthermore, you will coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing and supply chain activities with the demand forecast, collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate forecasting, order fulfillment, and inventory management, and identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency. Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning and supply chain management will be crucial for success in this role.
