About the position

The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring production aligns with market needs for an ecommerce electronics company. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning systems to support effective decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and production to align demand planning with business objectives.
• Utilize Power BI and SQL for data visualization and reporting to enhance forecasting accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies for inventory control to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
• Conduct regular sales analysis to identify patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Vaticinate future demand based on market insights, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
• Maintain documentation of demand planning processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in demand planning or production planning within a manufacturing or retail environment.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and other relevant planning systems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inventory control practices is preferred.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
