About the position

The Demand Planner at 10bits is responsible for generating supply plans that align with financial objectives and sales requirements. This role involves analyzing product sales, collaborating with various teams, and presenting updates to executive management. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements in product planning.

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives.
• Analyze product sales and identify opportunities for action.
• Partner closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
• Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch targets and ensure smooth product transitions.
• Collaborate with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components.
• Ensure raw material inventory targets are achieved and minimize materials obsolescence during product transitions.
• Present product updates and recommended actions to the Operations executive management team weekly.
• Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process.
• Marshal resources and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is desired.
• 5-7 years of related experience, or advanced degree plus 3-5 years of related experience.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• SAP experience is desired.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and navigate multiple systems.
• Ability to influence in a matrix organization and be a strong collaborator and communicator.
• Prior experience in fields requiring complex quantitative analysis such as finance or consulting is desired.
• Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or manufacturing operations is desired.
• 5 years of experience in Demand Planning and forecasting.

• Experience in healthcare staffing or professional staffing industries.
