About the position

The Demand Planning Analyst - Supply Chain role at Adecco involves forecasting and planning for various supply chain indicators, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing logistical processes. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient inventory management and process improvements within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Completes regular forecasting and planning for relevant indicators such as turnover, production, and inventories.
  • Analyzes, controls, and reports on relevant KPIs including productivity and profitability.
  • Detects and evaluates plan deviations and derives recommendations for remedial measures.
  • Performs cost-and-profitability analyses for specific business cases to prepare alternative decisions.
  • Develops supplier forecasts and determines logistical processes with suppliers.
  • Introduces and implements logistical requirements regarding material provision and delivery.
  • Plans and controls assigned inventories and stocks, analyzing changes and developing measures for inventory reduction.
  • Analyzes and controls logistical processes to detect weaknesses and initiate improvements.
  • Maintains a network and cooperates with all involved stakeholders in the respective processes.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of direct experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
  • Extensive functional, commercial, and/or technical knowledge in supply chain processes.
  • Ability to integrate analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Capability to interpret and influence policy and guidelines functionally.
  • Experience in developing processes and systems to meet functional objectives.
  • Ability to provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers.
  • Skill in transferring and applying know-how in various contexts.
  • Demonstrates professional judgment and problem-solving competency.
