About the position

The Demand Planning Intern position at Light & Wonder is a paid internship designed for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. This role is part of the Global Supply Chain Team and focuses on collaborating with various departments to develop demand forecasts and support the overall Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for land-based gaming products. The internship runs from mid-May to mid-August 2025, and the intern will complete a project that will be presented to the COO and the Supply Chain Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a project related to Demand Planning that will help support and improve the overall processes, tools, and/or analytical capabilities of the team.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, variances, and provide actionable insights to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within supply chain, commercial, and finance teams.
  • Support the development of the demand plan to the sales forecast, marketing promotions/events, New Openings & Expansions (NOE), and New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Reconcile the demand plan to actual orders and available supply.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, etc.
  • Effectively utilize data reporting tools and planning systems.
  • Participate in self-evaluations and feedback surveys.
  • Create a development plan for the duration of the assignment and participate in weekly check-in of development progress with manager.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or a Supply Chain related field.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to apply and obtain a NV Gaming License.
