About the position

The Demand Planning & Inventory Director at Lenovo will lead a highly technical organization responsible for demand planning and inventory management across all geographies. This role focuses on providing technical support to the International Sales Organization (ISO) and ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management to maximize revenue and meet consumer demand.

Responsibilities

• Full people-management responsibilities for a team of demand and inventory planners
• Accountable for team's forecast accuracy and resource management
• Use research and analysis to predict consumer demand and manage inventory
• Partner with sales and ISG business units to create and maintain demand forecasting models
• Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities
• Work with sales and supply chain managers to match supply with demand and resolve supply chain issues
• Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks for forecast accuracy
• Prepare and present forecast and inventory metrics to management teams
• Review and improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches
• Provide technical guidance and advice based on expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant degree
• 10+ years previous experience in supply chain
