The Demand/Supply Chain Analyst position involves conducting expert analysis of demand and supply chain performance issues, coordinating with various specialists, and providing recommendations for improvements. The role requires analyzing data related to past, present, and projected demand/supply chain activities, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and advising senior management on performance trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct expert analysis regarding demand/supply chain performance issues.
• Coordinate with functional process analysts and subject-matter specialists.
• Analyze and manipulate data regarding demand/supply chain activity.
• Monitor and evaluate implementation of proposals for improving KPIs and metrics.
• Create and maintain SAS and other software programs for data collection and reporting.
• Recommend improvements based on analyses and trends.
• Advise senior management on demand/supply chain performance and trends.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in demand/supply chain analysis or related field.
• Experience utilizing demand/supply chain application systems and software.
• Ability to analyze demand/supply chain KPIs such as Fill Rate and Material Availability.
• Experience developing analytical reports using multiple data sets and software tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAS programming.
• Familiarity with federal government operations and regulations.
