About the position

The Demand & Supply Chain Master Planner/Scheduler at Crafco, Inc. is responsible for developing and optimizing the master production plan to meet customer demand while balancing production, inventory, and shipping constraints. This role requires collaboration across various departments to ensure efficient production flow and effective inventory management, utilizing data-driven decision-making and ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on strategic stock plans, customer orders, and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Customer Support, Sales, Engineering, and production facilities, to align production capabilities and delivery requirements.
• Analyze production data, market trends, and forecasts to support proactive inventory planning and cost reduction strategies.
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced planning tools for efficient supply chain management.
• Manage plant transfers of finished goods to ensure an adequate supply at facilities without direct production capabilities.
• Apply Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to streamline the production schedule and improve inventory accuracy.
• Prepare and distribute monthly production reports, summarizing production activities and inventory levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in demand planning, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced planning tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, with exceptional attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
