About the position

As a Demand and Supply Planner at Rijk Zwaan, you will play a crucial role in coordinating a portfolio of vegetable and fruit seed varieties. Reporting to the Team Leader Sales Support, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring seed inventory, managing demand and replenishment, and ensuring seed availability for customers. You will also be responsible for tracking and forecasting against budgets to maintain optimal inventory levels, preparing data and reports for portfolio meetings, and collaborating with various teams to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a portfolio of vegetable and fruit seed varieties.
• Monitor seed inventory, demand, and replenishment to ensure seed availability.
• Track and forecast against budgets to maintain optimum inventory levels.
• Prepare data and reports for portfolio meetings to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with local crop specialists, the Sales Support team, and the international supply team.
• Seek improvements and share ideas for process enhancements.

Requirements

• Qualification in Business or experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in supply chain management.
• Prior experience in forecasting and replenishment software (preferred).
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft 365.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to meeting timelines.
• Ability to work independently while promoting a collaborative team environment.
