About the position

As a Demand Writer in the Personal Injury Pre-litigation department at Wilshire Law Firm, you will be responsible for drafting demand letters for personal injury cases, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, and major orthopedic cases. This role is crucial in obtaining justice for clients by preparing comprehensive demand packages that clearly outline the facts, injuries, and damages sustained by the clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare successful demand packages in personal injury matters.
• Draft well-written demand letters that clearly establish the facts of the case and outline the injuries and damages sustained by the client.
• Calculate damages, including lost wages, property damage, and medical expenses.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm.
• Ability to review and organize medical records and bills.
• Experience handling a large volume of personal injury cases and a proven track record of drafting successful demand letters.
• Must be able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Type at least 40 wpm.
