About the position

We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at La Mirada One Dental Park. The role focuses on providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dentist during various dental procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral health care and post-operative instructions
• Record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Perform office management duties, including inventory and ordering supplies

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program and current registration with the state dental board
• Current certification in CPR and radiology
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered dental assistant preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
