Responsibilities
- Assist with dental procedures and provide oral health education to patients.
- Maintain efficient operations and ensure a clean workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Prepare instrument cassettes and set up materials for procedures.
- Perform sterilization of contaminated dental instruments following infection control protocols.
- Make accurate alginate impressions for diagnostic models after training.
- Assist in various dental procedures including prosthodontics, restorations, oral surgery, and endodontics.
- Explain dental procedures and answer basic questions about treatment planning to patients.
- Assist office personnel during patient health emergencies.
- Stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior Dental Assistant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assist in thorough oral examinations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other dental professionals.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.
Nice-to-haves
