About the position

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a dental clinic setting. This position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, and offers a pay range of $19 to $24 per hour. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their visits. You will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort, and assisting the dentist with various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Additionally, you will take and develop dental x-rays, maintain accurate patient records, and assist with medical documentation. Your role will also involve providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatments, as well as sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment using aseptic techniques. In some cases, you may also perform dental receptionist duties as needed. Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus, but not required.
