About The Position
The position is for a Dental Officer in the Federal service, specifically under the Dental Officer Series 0680. Applicants must provide a resume that clearly states their experience and/or education relevant to the duties of the position. This includes both paid and unpaid experiences, such as volunteer work through National Service programs. A positive education requirement is in place, necessitating the submission of transcripts or a detailed education history. Official transcripts will be required after tentative selection. The basic requirements include having a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution. Applicants must also have passed the National Board of Dental Surgery (NBDE) and possess a current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry. Medical requirements include the ability to distinguish shades of color. The position qualifies for the GS-11 grade level, with additional qualifications for GS-12.
