We are currently hiring for the position of Dental Assistant, Ortho, and we are looking for motivated individuals who care about their patients and communities. This role is crucial in helping us achieve our mission of delivering high-quality dental care. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for supporting a traveling Orthodontic team, which means that the position will require flexibility and the ability to travel to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of the people in their community. We are hiring immediately for both full-time and part-time positions, with an estimated schedule of 4 days per month. Responsibilities

  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as necessary.
  • Support the orthodontic team in administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Two years of Dental Assisting experience.
  • EFODA and/or Ortho experience.
  • DA Registered with WA State Required.
  • Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program.
  • Valid health care provider CPR/BLS Certificate.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
