About The Position

The Dental Assistant position is a full-time role focused on supporting dentists during procedures and ensuring a smooth patient experience. The unique schedule allows for early home time, working Monday through Thursday from 6am to 2pm. The role includes responsibilities such as preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene.

Requirements

• Valid Radiation Health & Safety Certification license
• Valid Certified Dental Assistant certification
• Experience in patient interaction
• Proficiency in Dentrix system for medical documentation and record keeping
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to take accurate dental X-rays
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
• Attention to detail for infection control protocols and maintaining a clean environment
• Organizational skills to manage patient records, appointments, and inventory

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient care
• Take digital dental X-rays
• Perform dental charting and documentation in Dentrix
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
