About the position
We are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Drs. Tauber in Hamburg, NJ. The role involves assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures, preparing patients for dental work, and ensuring their comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental procedures, imaging technology, and patient care, contributing to the delivery of exceptional dental care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take X-rays
- Perform various office tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience in dental assisting (1 year preferred)
- X-Ray Certification (required)
- Proficiency in using 3D scanners and X-ray equipment
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures
- Familiarity with medical imaging software such as Softdent
- Understanding of dental terminology and medical records management
