Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to ensure quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using iTero 3D scanner and digital photography.
- Provide superior chairside assistance during various dental procedures in accordance with state regulations.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
- Prepare treatment rooms following strict safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
- Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
- Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant preferred.
- Dental assisting school certification in Florida required.
- Ability to train newly graduated dental assistants.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Strong work ethic and a friendly, efficient demeanor.
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
