About the position

We are seeking a reliable and outgoing Dental Assistant to join our team, working alongside experienced providers and new dentists. This part-time position requires working five days a week across two locations in Billerica, MA, and Nashua, NH, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care
• Maintain patient records and manage appointments
• Pack cord during crown procedures
• Fabricate temporary crowns
• Adjust and try in crowns during cementation/insert appointments

Requirements

• Current MA Dental Assistant License
• OSHA and CPR Certifications
• Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Reliable and dependable with a team-player attitude
• Ability to receive and give constructive criticism
• Positive demeanor and pleasant disposition
• Critical thinking skills and adaptability to changing schedules

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.) certification
• Experience in a private practice setting
