About The Position
The Dental Assistant at Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) plays a crucial role in assisting the dentist during patient examinations and treatments within the dental medicine program. The primary responsibilities include maintaining treatment rooms, laboratory, instruments, and equipment, as well as sterilizing dental instruments. Additionally, the Dental Assistant will assist with clerical duties as directed, which includes patient check-in and check-out processes and ordering dental supplies. This position is particularly focused on providing dental care for a predominantly pediatric population and may involve assisting on a mobile Dental Unit.
