About the position

The Dental Assistant position at Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is a five-week contract role with the potential for extension. The primary focus of this role is to support dentists in providing quality oral health care while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining efficient operations within the dental department.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment and building trust with the patient.
• Guaranteeing the efficiency of the dentist and the dental department in delivering quality oral health care.
• Assisting dentists during procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, by handing them instruments and providing suction.
• Maintaining patient records, including medical history and dental charting.
• Sterilizing dental instruments, treatment rooms, and surrounding work areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized dental assistant school or a combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to do the work.
• Must be a licensed Dental Assistant in Minnesota.
