About the position
The Dental Assistant position at StoneCreek Dental Care is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional support to dentists and ensuring a positive experience for patients. The role involves chairside assistance, compliance with safety regulations, and effective communication to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient safety.
- Complete clinical notes accurately in accordance with office policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to help alleviate patient anxiety.
- Anticipate the dentist's needs during treatment to ensure timely completion of procedures.
- Capture diagnostic quality x-rays efficiently.
Requirements
- Preferred minimum of 1 year paid experience as a Dental Assistant (not including externship).
- Experience with chairside 4-handed dentistry.
- Understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
- Good written communication skills for accurate clinical documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to follow directions and anticipate the dentist's needs during treatment.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and self-starter with high initiative.
- Ability to capture x-rays of diagnostic quality.
