About the position
The Dental Assistant at Panneton Dental Group plays a crucial role in providing chairside assistance to dentists, educating patients on treatment and oral hygiene, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment. This position emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork within a state-of-the-art dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists.
- Educate patients on recommended treatment, oral hygiene, and post-operative care.
- Assist with four-handed dentistry and coronal polishing.
- Develop strong relationships with patients.
- Assist with crowns, dentures, orthodontics, endodontics, implants, and oral surgery.
- Assist with treatment planning, x-rays, patient charting, surgery, and sterilization.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by sterilizing instruments and equipment according to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Must be X-Ray and Coronal Polish Certified.
- Completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
