About the position
Premier Dental Group is looking for an experienced and energetic dental assistant to join their multi-doctor dental office in Greenville, AL. The role focuses on providing exceptional patient care and support during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while assisting the dentist.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental treatments while ensuring their comfort
- Take digital X-rays
- Select and set up the instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
- Sterilize instruments in accordance with regulations
- Assist the dentist through four-handed dentistry
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Clean and stock the dental treatment room
- Document clinical notes using practice management software
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- Experience as a dental assistant
- Dependable and energetic personality
- Ability to prioritize patient needs
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Nice-to-haves
