Arrowhead Dental Associates is seeking an experienced dental assistant to join their award-winning team. The role involves working closely with a team of dentists in a state-of-the-art facility, providing exceptional dental care while fostering meaningful connections with patients. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated to help patients improve and maintain their oral health.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and prepare them for dental treatment
- Assist dentists chair-side by organizing and preparing instruments for dentist's use and assisting as needed with procedures
- Properly sterilize dental instruments
- Perform lab tasks as instructed
- Prepare post-operative care instructions for various procedures
- Accurately update medical history and maintain patient records
- Take and process patient x-rays
Requirements
- Experience in dental assisting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work with patients of all ages
