About the position
Perrinville Family Dentistry is seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This part-time position is designed for individuals who can work on Mondays and Fridays in a fast-paced and friendly dental office environment. Responsibilities
- Provides strong chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
- Takes and develops digital x-rays.
- Performs iTero scanning for restorative and Invisalign procedures.
- Conducts in-office whitening procedures.
- Sterilizes instruments and equipment.
- Maintains accurate patient records.
- Participates in volunteer events with team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or a minimum of 2 years of on-the-job training.
- Current Registered Dental Assistant license in the state of Washington.
- Valid Dental Radiographer License for Washington state requirements.
- CPR / BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in dental assisting (2 years preferred).
