Responsibilities
- Work alongside the dentist to perform basic supportive dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and instruments.
- Monitor schedule for efficiency.
- Educate patients on dental procedures.
- Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies.
- Perform other office duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant Certificate and/or prior back office assistant experience.
- X-ray certification required.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly.
- Ability to communicate well with the public.
