This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment, and educating patients on oral hygiene. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for providing excellent dental care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
• Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies and equipment as necessary.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
• X-Ray experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is a plus
