About the position

The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. This role involves managing clinic staff, developing policies, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The manager will also handle financial aspects and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Manage and supervise clinic staff, including front desk personnel, dental assistants, and administrative staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care
• Monitor and evaluate clinic performance to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate patient care
• Manage financial aspects of the clinic, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to optimize patient care

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures in various specialties
• Experience working in a hospital or critical care setting is preferred
• Previous experience managing a team of healthcare professionals is highly desirable
