About the position

We are seeking a Bilingual (English & Spanish) Dental Front Desk and Billing Coordinator for our state-of-the-art cosmetic and family dental practice located at 126 Main Street, Haverhill, MA. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated individual with polished communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and managing billing processes efficiently. The candidate must possess a strong background in dental insurance claims and billing, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Customer service is the number one aspect of this role, and the candidate must be great with patient interaction, demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness in all dealings. In this role, you will be responsible for treatment planning and estimating co-payments for patients. You will examine and analyze patient ledgers to determine proper billing and submit dental claims to insurance companies through various methods including online, by mail, and by fax. It is essential to review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to ensure that all procedures are paid correctly and in a timely manner. You will also be tasked with posting payments and appealing non-paid procedures by either calling or sending a narrative. Managing the aging report to ensure all claims are paid properly is a critical responsibility. Additionally, you will communicate with and build positive relationships with assigned offices through mail, email, and telephone to facilitate timely payment of premiums. Handling all patient service issues in accordance with company policies is expected, as well as increasing patient growth by supporting sales, marketing, and promotional programs. You will also explain different payment options to patients and collect co-payments as necessary. Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • 3+ years of dental insurance claims and billing experience required.
  • Experience entering and presenting treatment with confidence and a high success rate.
  • Must be very detail-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Excellent patient interaction and customer service skills are essential.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
