About the position

We are seeking a front desk patient coordinator who shares our core values of delivering outstanding patient care and customer service. Our practice strives to maintain a positive and energetic work environment so our team members may build confidence and expertise in their roles. We are a high-tech, modern dental office with a large emphasis on patient education and preventative dentistry for the entire family. While our primary focus is providing the highest level of preventative dental care, we also offer a full suite of services including implant restoration, Invisalign, veneers, facial injectables and dermal fillers, and KOR whitening. Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is advantageous, but experience is preferred but not required as there will be extensive training. Wage depends on experience and compatibility. Most importantly, we are looking for team members with a positive, 'can-do' attitude and a warm, outgoing personality. We want to build a team that is excited about dentistry and shows tremendous pride in their work! There will be great opportunities for team members to grow into leadership positions as the practice grows.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient services
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient service
  • Utilize dental terminology effectively in daily tasks

Requirements

  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
  • Familiarity with dental terminology
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to manage social media platforms
  • Experience as a Dental Receptionist (advantageous but not required)
  • Savvy in technology

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with patient dental software (Open Dental)
  • Experience in a dental office setting
