About the position

The Dental Front Office Manager at Mayfield Ranch Dental is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring efficient patient flow, and managing front office staff. This role requires strong administrative skills and experience in a dental or medical office setting, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations and excellent communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office
• Manage and supervise front office staff, including receptionists and administrative assistants
• Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and scheduling
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
• Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Train new staff members on office protocols and procedures
• Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency in using dental office software such as Dentrix or similar systems
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems, computers, printers, etc.
• Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, record keeping, and data entry
