About the position

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and organized front office candidate to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing exceptional support to both patients and the dental staff. This position requires proficiency in various dental software systems and a solid understanding of dental office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointments using Dentrix or DSN software.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with coding and billing processes, including the use of 10 key typing for data entry.
• Prepare and update care plans for patients as needed.
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries through phone systems, providing excellent customer service.
• Organize and file patient documents, ensuring easy access to information when required.
• Collaborate with dental receptionists to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Office Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with DSN practice management software or Dentrix or other dental practice management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and coding practices is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
