About the position

As a Dental Hygienist at Bright Now Dental in Bonney Lake, WA, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their best oral health. Supported by Smile Brands, this part-time position requires you to work two days a week, specifically on Monday and Wednesday. Bonney Lake offers a beautiful setting with views of Mount Rainier, providing a peaceful environment for both relaxation and adventure. You will be recognized for your impact on patient care and will be encouraged to practice at the top of your scope. The position also includes opportunities for professional development through complimentary continuing education (CEs) and a supportive community of dental hygienists.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments
• Screen patients' periodontal health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Perform oral cancer screenings
• Screen for individual needs including malocclusion and educate patients about potential impacts
• Deliver exceptional patient care and create a welcoming environment for all patients in alignment with our G3 model (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude)
• Promote a Safe Smile Space (S3) for everyone, where safety and inclusion are paramount

Requirements

• Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
• A current CPR certification
