About the position

Our private dental office is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team of dental professionals. We are looking for an individual who is positive and personable with strong communication skills to build rapport with our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will work closely with our dentists and other staff members to deliver comprehensive dental care and educate patients on oral health practices. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM, providing a great work-life balance for our team members. Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene care to patients, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
• Ensure the dental office complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of prior dental hygiene experience is highly preferred.
• Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with dental software and electronic health records.
• Certification in CPR and first aid.
