Responsibilities
- Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleaning teeth and educating patients on oral health.
- Document patient medical histories and dental hygiene procedures accurately.
- Utilize dental technology such as Velscope, Diagnodent, and digital x-rays as needed.
- Participate in continuing education and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Ohio.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
- Excellent working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient screening.
- CPR Certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, and electronic medical record systems.
