We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team and help us continue to deliver top-notch service. The Dental Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our dental practice, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Dentrix software and managing dental insurance processes. The Dental Office Manager will be responsible for managing daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination. This role requires proficiency in Dentrix software for patient records, appointment scheduling, and billing. The manager will also handle patient insurance claims, verification, and billing processes, ensuring that all operations comply with HIPAA regulations. Additionally, the manager will supervise and train front office staff to ensure high-quality customer service and maintain accurate patient records. The position involves developing and implementing office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner, and overseeing inventory management to ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaboration with the dental team to support patient care and practice growth is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination.
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient records, appointment scheduling, and billing.
  • Handle patient insurance claims, verification, and billing processes.
  • Supervise and train front office staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to support patient care and practice growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Dentrix dental software (Required to be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies, claims, and billing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.

Nice-to-haves
