About the position

Apollo Dental is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations in our dental office, serving as the first point of contact for patients and focusing on providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
  • Present and discuss treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand their options and costs.
  • Accurately input and update patient information into Eaglesoft, including insurance details and billing information.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth flow of patients throughout the day.
  • Follow up with patients regarding treatment, upcoming appointments, and past-due balances.
  • Assist in managing patient recall and retention efforts.
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out, collecting payments as needed.
  • Provide support with other administrative tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is required.
  • Proficiency in dental software (experience with Eaglesoft is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
  • Familiarity with dental insurance processes and claims submission.
