About the position

Welnak Dental, a well-established family dentistry office located in Keene, NH, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality dental care in a patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, a team player, and capable of gracefully managing the day-to-day operations of a busy dental office. We are looking for an individual who embodies friendliness, cheerfulness, and professionalism, with a strong enthusiasm for patient care and administrative tasks. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for greeting them warmly and ensuring a smooth check-in process. Your role will involve answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, posting payments and treatments, and sending insurance claims. You will also verify patient eligibility and benefits, along with performing various administrative tasks that are essential to the efficient operation of our office. Given that we operate a paperless office, computer literacy is a must, and you will be expected to troubleshoot basic computer issues as they arise. This is a full-time position requiring approximately 33 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM, and some Fridays as needed. Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries.
  • Scheduling patient appointments efficiently.
  • Posting payments and treatments accurately.
  • Sending insurance claims and verifying patient eligibility and benefits.
  • Performing various administrative tasks to support office operations.
  • Troubleshooting basic computer issues as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Computer literacy is essential, especially in a paperless office environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
