About the position

We are seeking a Lead Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic in Oak Lawn, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive efficient and compassionate service. The Lead Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in managing the front desk operations, which includes handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records. In addition to front desk duties, the Lead Dental Receptionist will be responsible for billing insurances, following up on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and addressing various administrative tasks that are vital to the smooth operation of our clinic. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, as they will be the first point of contact for our patients. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essential, as the role requires managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with an hourly pay range of $15.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. The work schedule will consist of 8-hour shifts, and the work location is in person at our private practice. Candidates with experience in medical or dental front desk operations are encouraged to apply, as well as those with knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience with medical terminology (preferred).
  • Computer skills (preferred).
